WHITEFISH, Mont., Jan. 21, 2019 –
Cedric Boone of Montana Western was selected the Frontier Conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Boone is a 6-foot-1 junior guard from Minnetonka, Minn. Montana Western lost two conference games over the weekend, losing to MSU-Northern 81-63 and 93-90 to No. 22 University of Providence in overtime. For the weekend, Boone averaged 28.5 points, three rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals. He was 21 of 46 from the field including 12 of 23, 3-point field goals. Boone made 3 of 4 from the free throw line. He scored a career high 31 points in the overtime loss to Providence.
