The Montana Western Bulldogs picked up their first conference win of the season with an dramatic three point win over the Lights. The Bulldogs never trailed and held a 10 point lead for a majority of the game. The Bulldogs shot over 50 percent from the floor and held a 16-point lead with six minutes remaining, the Lights then hit three 3-pointers to cut the lead and set up nail-biting finish. The Light's run cut the lead to just a single point, before
Trey Edwards hit two clutch free-throws with 16 seconds left to give the Bulldogs a three-point lead. The Lights were forced to attempt a desperation 3-point shot at the buzzer that fell short, giving the Bulldogs a huge road win.
Individual Leaders
Kooper Kidgell recorded his first career double-double, scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds.
Troy Scott scored 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists.Â
Collin Achenbach scored a season-high nine points, and four rebounds.Â
Joe Fons scored 18 points and seven rebounds for the Lights.Â
