The Montana Western Bulldogs ran into a offensive buzzsaw Saturday night in Great Falls, Mont. The University of Providence Argos shot 67 percent from the floor and made 17 3-point shots. The Bulldogs traded baskets for the opening three minutes, but could not match the Argos offensive fire power and quickly found themselves in a double digit deficit. Five Argos scored in double figures on 44 made field goals.Â
Turning Point
The Bulldogs cut the lead to nine with five minutes remaining in the first half but the Argos closed on a 13-0 run to build the lead up to 22 at the break.

Troy Scott scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Kooper Kidgell scored 13 points and two rebounds.
James Ramirez scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.
Brandon Cotton scored a game-high 22 points.
