The Montana Western Bulldogs started strong building a 10 point lead just five minutes into the game. Rocky Mountain started to chip away at the lead eventually holding a 13 point lead at the half. The Bulldogs made a run late in the game to try and claw their way back but the Battlin' Bears, who shot 50 from the floor and from 3-point range, had an answer for every Bulldog push.Â
Turning Point
The Bulldogs went on a 12-0 run to cut the Rocky lead to 12 with just under six minutes remaining. However the Battlin' Bears quickly built the lead back up to 20Â
Individual Leaders
Cedric Boone scored 16 points to led the Bulldogs.
Kooper Kidgell scored 14 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Tanner Haverfield added 12 points, two assists, and two blocks. Â
Jared Samuelson scored a game-high 29 points for the Battlin' Bears. He also had eight rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.Â
Lukas Vining added 18 points.Â
