WHITEFISH, Mont., Mar. 6, 2018— Conference commissioner Kent Paulson announced the Frontier Conference 2018-19 All-Conference Men's Basketball team, as well as individual award winners today after balloting by the league's coaches.
Kooper Kidgell was named second-team all-conference and
Cedric Boone was named all-conference honorable mention.
Kidgell, a 6-4 senior guard from Billings, Mont., was named all-conference second-team. This season he scored 515 points averaging a career-best 17.17 points a game. He shot 48.3 percent from the floor and 32.1 percent from beyond the arc to finish fifth in the conference in scoring. He averaged 4.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 steals a game this season and ended his career with 1445 points. He was named all-conference honorable mention last season.
Boone, a 6-1 guard from Minnetonka, Minn., was named all-conference honorable mention. This season he led the team in steals and assists, he shot 37.9 percent from the floor and 35.6 percent from 3-point range. Boone averaged 14.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals a game and was named Player of the Week on Jan. 21. He finished the season 29th in the nation in total 3-point field goals made.
