Bulldogs Fall in Five to Olivet Nazarene

Late rally falls just short in tough fifth set loss

The Bulldogs late comeback bid against Olivet Nazarene fell just short Friday morning in the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge. UMW found themselves in a quick two sets to none deficit.The Tigers looked to complete the sweep but the Bulldogs found their rhythm and would not go away without a fight, battling back to force the deciding fifth set. In the fifth, the teams traded punches for the duration of the set before ONU escaped with the win. 

Individual Leaders
Jessie Weber had a.345 hitting percentage, 11 kills and career-high 22 digs.
Cady Siemion had 11 kills and 17 digs.
Tannah Sellers recorded 20 digs.  
Kassisdy Heeringa recorded 15 kills for the Tigers. 
Tessa Scarlati had a game-high 25 digs for ONU.
