Location: Dawson County Fairgrounds – Glendive, Mont.

The Bulldogs started 2019-20 season with a strong showing in Glendive. Both the men's and women's teams finished third with Brody Smith winning the All-Around.

Brody Smith and Jes Tews won the Team Roping with a time of 14.3 on two.

Top Performers
Rikki Thompson finished second in the breakaway roping with a time of 6.3 on two.
Mikayla Witter took third in the breakaway roping with a time of 6.4 on two. 
Brody Smith finished third in the bareback with a score of 139 on two.
Alonzo Skunkcap and Jake Cerini took third in the team roping with a time of 16.2 on two. 
Treygan Olson and Brett Bartholomew finished fourth int he team roping with a time of 18.3 on two. 
Ryland Lufkin finished fourth in the breakaway roping with a time of 6.7 on two. 
Ryland Lufkin finished fourth in the goat tying with a time of 16.1 on two. 
 
Coach Lahaye's Thoughts
"It was good to finally get out and compete, our upperclassmen had a good weekend and our freshman showed a lot of potential. There are a lot of points available over the next two weekends, and we have a great opportunity to make a big jump in the standings."
