The Bulldogs fell in straight sets to the 19th ranked Orediggers Wednesday night. The first set was tied at 10 before Tech rattled off eight of the next nine points to take command of the set. In the second Tech seemed to be on a roll, leading 17-8. Western rallied to tie the set at 22 and 24 before falling 26-24. The third set started off close but, the Orediggers rattled off eight of 11 points to put the set and the match away.

• Danyel Martin had four kills, a .300 hitting percentage and four blocks.
• Hailey Anderson had five kills and two blocks. 
• Morgan Kirch had 19 digs.
• Abbey Schwager and Kaylee Fritz had 11 assists apiece.
• Maureen Jessop had 10 kills and three blocks for Montana Tech.
• McKenna Kaelber had 24 assists for the Orediggers. 
• Sarah Hopcroft had 18 dgis for Tech.
