CALDWELL, Idaho—The Montana Western Bulldogs (6-3) fell short of 18
th-ranked College of Idaho Yotes (4-2), 77-64.
The Bulldogs held off the Yotes until late in the second half. Montana Western shot well from the arc in the first half—38 percent—but were just 41 percent from the field and zero of five from the foul line. Their performance from the free-throw line improved in the second half to 67 percent but were only four of 14 from the 3-point line. The Yotes capitalized on Bulldog fouls and turnovers to edge ahead in the final minutes of the game.
Max Clark led the Bulldogs with 16 points and eight rebounds.
Jamal Stephenson dished out five assists.
The Bulldogs only recorded six turnovers compared to the Yotes' 12.
The Yotes were led by Johnny Radford with 19 points, shooting five of six from the 3-point line.
Montana Western faces Multnomah on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. in Caldwell.
