DILLON, Mont. – The Montana Western Volleyball team was swept 3-0 by Carroll College this evening by scores of 20-25, 21-25, and 25-27. Kaylee Fritz hit a career mark of 1,000 assists in the game.

How it Happened
The Bulldogs struggled to gain momentum this evening as they battled with the Fighting Saints of Carroll College. The Bulldogs suffered numerous errors in the match tonight with a total of 27 and had their third lowest hitting percentage of the season with a .085. Despite the difficult game, Fritz totaled 37 assists placing her above the 1,000-career assist mark. She now ranks fifth in Montana Western volleyball history at only a sophomore. Danyel Martin led the Bulldogs from the front row with 12 kills and a block. Kelsey Goddard led the back row with 18 digs. KayLee Kopp and Jazi Smith each added 17 digs apiece. Freshman Jordan Olson also had a career day with four blocks in the game.

• The Bulldogs were out hit .116 to .085 in the game, and struggled to gain momentum with a total of 27 errors in the game.
• Fritz totaled 37 assists placing her above the 1,000-career assist mark. She now ranks fifth in Montana Western volleyball history at only a sophomore. She also added an ace to her stats tonight and continues to lead the team in aces.
• Goddard led the back row with 18 digs. Kopp and Smith each added 17 digs apiece.
