HAVRE, Mont. – The Montana Western Volleyball team downed the MSU-Northern Skylights this afternoon in straight sets by scores of 27-25, 25-15, and 25-29. The Bulldogs now move to 10-14 on the season and 2-6 in conference play. This also marks their second victory over the Skylights this season.

How it Happened
The Bulldogs started out in a heated back and forth battle with the Skylights in set one. The Bulldogs were all tied up at 25 when a pair of back to back kills by
Jazi Smith and by
Danyel Martin sealed the 27-25 victory over the Skylights in set one. The Bulldogs took a huge early lead in set two 19-6 that helped to propel them to victory in set two 25-15. The Bulldogs put forth their best hitting percentage in set three, hitting .216 in the set and tallying 12 team kills to push them to victory over the Skylights 25-19.
Jazi Smith had another outstanding day as she led the Bulldogs with 10 kills, 12 digs, and an ace. She also hit .391 in the game with just one error. The Bulldogs pieced together eight blocks in the game, compared to the Skylights who had three total.
Kaylee Fritz tallied 23 assists in the match. The Bulldogs also picked up four total aces in the game behind serves from Smith, Fritz, and
Elyce Palmer.
Peyton Vogl also had a solid day for the Bulldogs as she picked up nine kills, three blocks, and hit .350 in the match.
