BILLINGS, Mont. - The Montana Western Volleyball team continued their hot streak today at the Frontier Conference Preseason Tournament as they defeated the No. 20 ranked Montana Tech Orediggers in straight sets by scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-16. "The girls did a great job today. There are still a few things we are working on, but they did a great job stepping up to the opportunity to play a ranked team. Tech has always been a very offensive team so we knew we would have our work cut out for us." Head Coach

How It Happened
The Bulldogs grabbed their first win over the Orediggers since 2011 as they defeated Montana Tech 3-0, snapping the longest losing streak in the matchup history (24 straight).
Kaylee Fritz totaled 26 assists in the match as the Bulldogs racked up 35 total kills in the game.
KayLee Kopp led in the front row as she tallied 11 kills, while hitting a team high of .323.
Danyel Martin followed with seven kills and an impressive seven blocks, five of which were solo blocks.
Kelsey Goddard led in the back row with 17 digs.
Morgan Kirch got her 700
th career dig as she tallied eight digs in the back row during the game.
"Our team played with a lot of resilience today. We started getting our flow together and worked point for point. We played for each other with so much passion and wanted everyone on the team to be successful." Redshirt junior outside hitter
