KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the NAIA Football GoRout Top 25 Postseason Poll with Montana Western football finishing ranked at no. 5 on the poll.
The Bulldogs capped off an impressive season with a 10-2 overall record, winning the Frontier Conference Championship, securing their first NAIA playoff victory in over 30 years, and celebrating the inaugural season in their new home at Bulldog Stadium.
This season, led by three All-Americans—
Michael Palandri,
Marcus Lombard, and
Eli Nourse—the Bulldog offense shattered multiple records. They broke the single-season total offense record, surpassing the 2021 mark of 5,399 yards with an impressive 5,773 yards. Additionally, they set a new record for passing yards in a season with 3,735, eclipsing the previous record of 3,535 set in 1994. The team also broke the total points scored record, previously set in 2021, by amassing 498 points this season.
The Bulldog defense contributed this season, finishing first in the Frontier Conference in sacks and seventh overall in the NAIA. Five Bulldogs earned All-Conference honors, including
Jace Fitzgerald, who also received VSN Honorable Mention recognition.
Head Coach
Ryan Nourse earned Frontier Conference Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
