Montana Western Volleyball Adds Four to 2026 Roster

DILLON, Mont. –  The Montana Western volleyball program has signed four student-athletes ahead of the 2026 season, head coach Katie Lovett announced Wednesday. 
 
A brief profile on each athlete and a quote from Lovett follow below.
 
"We are really excited about the addition of these four recruits to our growing team," Lovett said. "They each bring a unique skill set that will move our team forward and are all extremely hardworking individuals. We are looking forward to seeing how they contribute to the program."
 
Clea Rapson, Libero
5-5, Miles City, Mont., Custer County District HS
Rapson joins the Bulldogs from Custer County District HS in Miles City. She is a libero who is three-time Best Defensive Player honoree, two-time all-conference performer, and was named an MVP leader. She is the daughter of Scott and Anna Rapson and plans to major in Kinesiology.
 
Maggie Schneiter, Setter
5-5, Florence, Mont., Florence-Carlton HS
Schneiter is a setter from Florence-Carlton HS. She comes to Western as a two-time divisional champion and one-time state runner-up. She earned All-State recognition in 2025 and was an All-Conference and All-Tournament team member in 2024. She is the daughter of Matt and Kerrie Schneiter and will major in biology on the pre-nursing track.
 
Lilia Kahalepo, Outside Hitter
5-10, Las Vegas, Nev., Spring Valley HS
Kahalepo is an outside out of Spring Valley HS in Las Vegas. In her senior season she helped lead the team to a 19-13 overall record. She is the daughter of Robin and Kupahu Kahalepo and plans to majors in secondary and K-12 education.
 
Jaynie Jesperson, Libero
5-0, Salem, Ore., West Salem HS
Jesperson comes to UMW from Salem Ore. The libero out of West Salem HS is a two-time First Team All-League honoree. She is also a four-time All-Academic Team member and four-time Academic All-State recipient. She is the daughter of Cherie Jesperson and plans to major in biology.
