The Montana Western Bulldogs fell to the Montana Tech Orediggers 71-60 Tuesday night. The Bulldogs found themselves in a early hole and clawed their way back to take the lead late in the first half, only to see Tech score the next nine points to build back the lead. The Bulldogs were able to cut the lead down to four when
Connor Burkhart hit a shot at the first half buzzer. The Orediggers then used a 15-0 run over the opening six minutes of the second half to open a 19 point lead. The Bulldogs tired to climb back into the game, but couldn't get any closer than seven points.Â

Jaycob Payne scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds.Â
Kooper Kidgell scored 11 points. three rebounds, and two blocks.Â
