The Montana Western Bulldogs ran into an offensive buzzsaw when they faced the third ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints Saturday night. The Saints shot 63 percent from the floor in the first half and 50 percent from 3-point range. The Bulldogs struggled from the floor, shooting just 36 percent and scoring a season low 27 first half points. The Bulldogs awoke from their offensive slumber shooting 57 percent from the floor scoring 51 points in the second half. However the late run wasn't enough to overcome the lead that the Saints had built. Â
Turning Point
The Saints opened the game on a 23-7 run. They maintained a 20 point lead for most of the second half.Â
Individual Leaders
Kooper Kidgell scored a game-high 25 points, He also had three rebounds, and three steals.Â
Carter Kearns scored 16 points off the bench.Â
Match Burnham scored 23 points for the Saints.
Matt Wyman scored 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal.Â
