Pocatello, Idaho. - The University of Montana Western men's and women's indoor track teams traveled to Pocatello, Idaho to compete in the Mountain State Games.
The Bulldogs were the only NAIA school as the meet featured mostly NCAA DI schools.
Josh Jessop led the men running the 800 meters in 2:02.69 and the mile in 4:31.18.
Jonathan Harrison finished the 800 meters in 2:10.36 and the mile in 4:40.70.
In the women's race Shelby Walls ran the 800 meters in 2:34.46 and the mile in 5:40.41.
Emma Adams led the way in the 3000 meters with a time of 11:28.40, followed by Liz Varner (11:58.18) and Morgan Baseley (12:21.88).
"I'm excited about the progress we have made from the last meet three weeks ago," head coach
Dylan Zitzer said. "Liz and Morgan both ran over 30 seconds faster in the 3000m. Josh continued to run well in the mile. It was really good to see Jonathan back out there racing and Emma making her season debut."

The men's and women's track teams will be back in action when they travel to Bozeman, Mont. Friday, February 21 to compete in the Bobcat Tuner.
