DILLON, Mont. – The Montana Western men's and women's track and field teams travel to Dickinson, N.D., this weekend to participate in the Frontier Conference Outdoor Championships. The meet is hosted by Dickinson State and will be held at the Biesiot Activities Center.

The gun goes off for running events at 9 a.m. MT Saturday, beginning with the women's 10,000m. Field events begin at 12:30 p.m. MT with the women's javelin.
On Sunday, field events kick off at 10 a.m. MT with the men's triple jump while running events start at 12 p.m. MT with the women's 1500m.
LAST TIME OUT
Both the men's and women's team placed seventh at Montana Open last week.
On the women's side, Olivia Heiner won the women's 5000m and Justene Santi took second in the women's 3000m steeplechase.
For the men's team, Brody Henry placed second in the men's 800m and Tyler Raine earned third in the men's 110 hurdles.
STANLEY STREMICK NAMED FRONTIER OUTDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Stanley Stremick picked up the first Athlete of the Week award for the Bulldogs this season, earning Field Athlete of the Week after two top-10 finishes at the Montana Open. He finished fourth in the men's long jump with a 6.84m effort and eighth in the triple jump with a 12.77m leap.

On the women's side, Sarah Clark (javelin, discus), Brielle Davis (javelin, discus), Cassie Green (shot put, discus), Olivia Heiner (10,000m, 5000m), Haley Hodge (400m, 400H), Braden Kopp (shot put, discus), Justene Santi (3000m steeplechase, 400H), Kendalyn Streck (shot put, discus), Ellie Stutsman (shot put, discus), and Kylee Wyatt (1500m) will compete.
For the men's team, Kreg Butler (5000m), Layne Cooney (shot put, discus), Luke Crossley (10,000m, 4x800m), Brody Henry (800m, 4x800m), Mason Lynch (5000m), Justin Maier (shot put, discus), Tyler Raine (110H, 400H, 400m), Noah Rovente (5000m), Stanley Stremick (long jump, triple jump, high jump), Tad Tackes (shot put, discus), Cael Thilmony (5000m), Tristan Von Bargen (800m, 4x800m), and Bridger Wheeler (800m, 4x800m) will see action.
MEET THE FIELD
11 teams are set to compete in the meet, including Dickinson State, Bellevue, Bismarck State, Carroll, Dakota State, MSU-Northern, Montana Tech, Providence, Rocky Mountain, Valley City State, and Montana Western.
