LA GRANDE, Ore. -
Max Clark scored 22 points as Montana Western (3-0) used a strong second half to beat Walla Walla (0-1) 88-65 Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs and Wolves played an even first half. The Wolves led for a majority of the first 20 minutes before the Bulldogs closed the gap and took a 35-33 lead at the break.
Jalen Hodges opened the second-half with eight of the teams first 11 points and the Bulldogs quickly built a double-digit lead. UMW shot 60.6 percent in the second half as Hodges finished the game with 16 points.
Max Clark went 8 of 14 for 22 points to led the Bulldogs. He dished out seven dimes and six rebounds. and true Freshman
Ky Kouba came off the bench to score 15 points.
Walla Walla's KiAndre Gaddy led all scorers with 23 points, eight rebounds and five blocks.

The Bulldogs had 18 total assists.
The Bulldogs had 33 bench points.
The Bulldogs made 11 3-point field goals (44 percent).
Walla Walla blocked seven shots.
The Bulldogs will face host Eastern Oregon tomorrow, Oct. 30. Tip-off from the Quinn Coliseum is set for 11:30 a.m. mountain time.
