DICKINSON, N.D.—The Bulldogs of Montana Western (9-3) swept the weekend at the Milanovich Classic with a win against the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers (N.D.) (4-6), 78-50.
For the second game in a row, the Bulldogs led their opponent the entire game with no lead changes. Montana Western held Dakota Wesleyan to a grim 29 percent shooting from the field and eight percent from the arc; the Tigers were two of 25 from the 3-point line, making only one 3-pointer per half.
The Bulldogs shot substantially better than their opponent—42 percent from the field and 30 percent from the arc. Montana Western scored 22 points from the foul line (22 of 25; 88 percent), while the Tigers only gained nine off fouls (nine of 12; 75 percent).

- Ky Kouba scored 26 points for the Bulldogs, 13 of which were free throws (13 of 13; 100 percent); he also led Montana Western with 11 rebounds.

- Koln Oppold had 15 points and five rebounds for the Tigers.
The Bulldogs play Thursday, December 2 at 7 p.m. in Butte against Montana Tech in the first Frontier Conference game of the season.
