DILLON, Mont. - The Montana Western rodeo was at home this weekend for the annual Montana Western Rodeo. The men's team took the team title for the third time this season.
Trevor Kay won the average in bareback and
Ty Christiansen won the men's all-around title.
Top Performers
Trevor Kay was the average winner in the bareback with an overall score of 151 (75, 76).
Ty Christiansen placed second in the average in tie down roping with a 21.9 (10.1, 11.8)
Ty Christiansen and
Jhet Murphy came in second in the average in team roping with a 16.6 (9.6, 7).
Garrett Yeager came in second in the average with a 10.9 (5.7, 5.2).
Kylie Lund came in second in the average with a 15.4 in goat tying (7.4, 8).
Maggie Lund came in third in the average for barrel racing with a 35.81 (18.08, 17.73).
Adrianna Rohrer came in fourth in the average in barrel racing with a 35.84 (17.94, 17.90).
Carson Klingler came in fourth in the average in the saddle bronc with a score of 111 (67, 44).
TaLyn Neville placed fifth in the average for breakaway roping with an 8.6 (3.9, 4.7).
Ember Casperson came in fifth in goat tying with a 16.1 (8.0, 8.1)
Madalyn Foster and
Jackie Sceirine came in sixth in the average with a 30 in team roping (12.9,17.1).
Up next
The Bulldogs finished their season for the fall and will be picking back up in the spring. The Men's team is currently sitting in first place in the Big Sky region.
