GLENDIVE, Mont. - The Montana Western rodeo team traveled to Glendive, Mont. this weekend to compete at the Dawson Community College Rodeo. The men's team took the team title with a score of 660 points.

Top Performers
Trevor Kay placed first in bareback with an overall score of 130.
Rhett Varian placed first in team roping with an overall of 17.3.
Jhet Murphy placed first in steer wrestling with an overall of 13.7.
Tavy Leno placed second in goat tying with an overall of 15.1.

Luke Murphy took third in team roping with an overall of 20.8.
Brett Bartholomew placed third in tie down roping with an overall of 22.7.
Brooke Richey placed third in breakaway roping with an overall of 17.0.
Matt Goings placed fourth in team roping with an overall of 22.4.
Jhet Murphy and
Ty Christiansen placed fifth in team roping with an overall of 23.5.
Garrett Yeager placed fifth in steer wrestling with an overall of 5.5. /1.
Adrianna Rohrer placed sixth with an overall of 3.5/1 in breakaway.
Tavy Leno and
Carson Klingler placed sixth in team roping with an overall of 29.9.
"The men's team had a great weekend and were able to capture another team title having a couple of guys come back to the short round in each event. I was lucky enough to help achieve that goal by winning the long round in the steer wrestling with a 4.3, placing third in the short round, and winning the average title. I also was able to place and get some points in the team roping with my partner
Ty Christiansen heeling for me."
