BOZEMAN, Mont.—The Montana Western indoor track team got the new year started at the Bobcat Challenge at Montana State University today. 11 Bulldogs competed at the event.
Three Bulldogs competed in the mile run
. Mason Baseley came in seventh overall with a 5:44.43. Araceli Ramirez came in tenth overall with a 5:46.42, and Cecily Eagleton came in 14th with a 6:09.20.
Morgan Baseley and
Liz Varner competed in the Women's 3000m. Baseley placed 11th with a 11:29.17 and Varner placed 16th with a 12:04.09.
Marissa Martindale took 14th in the long jump after a 4.80m preliminary.
On the Men's side,
Isaiah Powell took eighth in the Men's 400m with a 57.54.
Joe Lamb ran the Men's mile run and placed 10th after running it in 4:50.94.
Three Bulldog men competed in the Men's 3000 meter run today.
Brant Heiner placed 18th behind a 9:32.76.
Will Hyatt placed 21st with a 9:38.31.
Luke Lutz placed 24th with a 9:48.46.
The Bulldog Indoor Track team will continue with their season next weekend at Idaho State University where they will compete in the Stacy Dragila Invitational.
