BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Western men's basketball team (2-1, 0-0) suffered their first loss of the season this evening as they lost 76-57 to the University of Jamestown (1-1).
How It Happened
After a slow start for Western put Jamestown up seven in the first five minutes of the matchup,

Alan Kane on back-to-back possessions to close the gap to three points with just under 14 minutes to play.
The Jimmies would continue to keep the Bulldogs at an arm's reach after taking as much as a 10-point lead late in the half.
Stepney hit a pair of jumpers and
Kevin Bethel laid one in to close the half down just three to the Jimmies at 36-33.
The second half was a much different story for Western, seeing UJ run behind a 10-0 scoring run to start the half that they would continue to run behind.
