The University of Montana Western Bulldogs fell in a exhibition game to the Montana State Bobcats 90-75. The Bulldogs battled the Bobcats matching blow-for-blow and forcing the Bobcats into 20 turnovers. Late in the first half, with Bobcats starting to pull away
Kooper Kidgell hit back-to-back treys to cut the Bobcat lead to just four points with 4:30 left in the first-half. The Bobcats scored the next 10 points and closed the half on a 18-7 run to take a 52-37 lead into the break. The Bobcats hot touch from downtown, shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc, kept the Bulldogs at arms length in the second-half not allowing the Bulldogs to get any closer that 12 points.
