FRONTIER CONFERENCE RELEASE


WHITEFISH, Mont., Dec. 16, 2019 – Brian Howell of Montana Western was selected the Frontier Conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Howell is a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward from Wilmington, N.C. Montana Western won two games at the Cactus Classic in Chandler, Ariz.

The Bulldogs beat Ottawa (Ariz.) 93-82 and routed Lethbridge 102-69. Howell averaged 17 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal. He was 14 of 22 from the field (64 percent) and 6 of 9 for free throws. He recorded a 16 point 10 rebound double-double in the win over Lethbridge. 

This is the first time Howell has won the award.
