The Bulldogs closed out the 2019 Cactus Classic with a 100-89 loss to No. 8 Marian University. Cedric Boone led the team with 31 points and James Jones scored 20. But the Bulldogs were unable to overcome an early deficit. UMW trailed by double digits for most of the game, they cut the Knights lead to 11 late in the game but couldn't get any closer as MU held on for the win.

• Cedric Boone tied a career-high with 31 points. He added six rebounds and two assists. 
• James Jones scored 20 points, five rebounds and three assists.
• Brian Howell scored 11 points and four rebounds. 
• Max Clark dished out nine assists. 
• Christian Stewart scored 31 points and four assists for the Knights. 
• Cameron Wolter scored 13 points and 11 rebounds for Marian.
