Dillon, Mont. – University of Montana Western head volleyball coach Katie Lovett has added three student-athletes to the 2019 recruiting class.
 
Abby Morgan (6-0 - Outside Hitter - Blackfoot, Idaho)
Abby is a four-year multi-sport athlete who will add size to the front row. She was named 3A first-team all-state her senior year. Abby was a three-year starter for Snake River High School's volleyball team, playing both the middle and outside positions.

"Abby brings a lot of potential to growing the program at Montana Western. She will be able to contribute on and off the court right away and has a great competitive attitude. She adds some height to our front row with a strong arm swing. I am excited about Abby joining the team and can't wait to see her grow as a Bulldog."

She is the daughter of Cory and Terea Morgan and will graduate Snake River High School this spring with plans to major in biology at Montana Western.
 
Emmah Peterson (6-1 - Middle Blocker - Malad, Idaho)
Emmah is a 2017 graduate of Malad High School and has spent the last two seasons at Walla Walla Community College. In 2018 she led her team with 63 total blocks and was first in the NWAC with 28 solo blocks. She averaged nearly a block per set, good for fifth in the NWAC.  She also had a .252 hitting percentage. During her senior season in high school she recorded 365 kills, 242 digs, and 141 blocks she was names first-team all-area in 2016 for her efforts.

"We are very excited to have Emmah join the program in the fall. Her blocking ability and experience will help us out a lot at the middle position. She has a very calm, but determined attitude on the court. She moves quickly and does a great job at closing the block."

She is the daughter of Heath and Dava Peterson and is undecided on a major.
 
Tannah Sellers (5-5 - Defensive Specialist - Eden, Idaho)
Tannah has spent the last two seasons with the Generals of Sheridan College where she was a two-year captain. She averaged 2.57 digs per set last season and had a passing rating of 2.4 on a 3 point scale.

"Tannah is an extremely positive athlete and a very hard worker on the court and in the class room. I am very happy to have Tannah join our team and to add more experience in our defense. She is a solid serve receive passer, which will create offensive opportunities for the team."

She is 2017 graduate of Valley High School where she helped led the Vikings to the school's first volleyball trophy with a third place finish at the 1A-DI state tournament. The multi-sport athlete was a state champion in the discus, and a first-team all-conference selection in basketball.

Off the court she carries a 4.0 GPA and plans on majoring in elementary education at Montana Western.
