DILLON, Mont. — After an impressive weekend, Montana Western middle blocker Danyel Martin was voted the ERCK Hotels Frontier Conference Defender of the Week.

Martin picked up Defensive Player of the Week following Montana Western's 3-0 weekend at the Wolf Pack Invitational in New Orleans, La. last weekend.

Martin led the Montana Western front with 1.75 blocks per set and totaled 21 blocks across the Bulldogs' three matches. In addition, Martin added 27 kills for 2.25 kills per set and a .205 hitting percentage.

Martin sits within the top 20 in the NAIA for blocks per set this season with 1.31 blocks per set.
