Montana Western Volleyball Announces 2026 Slate

DILLON, Mont. – The Montana Western Volleyball Team has released its 2026 schedule, head coach Katie Lovett announced Tuesday.

The Frontier Conference regular season champion will earn an automatic bid to the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament. The winner of the conference tournament will also receive a bid.

The 2026 season kicks off with two away tournaments for the Bulldogs. For the season opener at OLLU, they will potentially face off against the hosts, Saint Francis, Campbellsville, Dakota Wesleyan, or Frontier rival Rocky Mountain.

At the College of Idaho tournament, Western will take on the Yotes as well as EOU and The Masters.

League play begins with a three-game road test with the Bulldogs having nine total road games once conference begins.

The first chance to see the Red and Black at home is Sept. 11 and 12 when they host Dickinson State and Bismarck State. Following the home opener, the Bulldogs host nine additional games at Straugh Gymnasium, including a four-game homestand Oct. 23-31.
