BILLINGS, MT – Three Montana Western athletes kicked off the outdoor track and field season with impressive showings at the Yellowjackets/Battlin' Bears Icebreaker Open today.
Brody Henry got off to a fast start in the 800m, securing a third-place finish with a time of 2:03.01. Olivia Steadman made a statement in her track and field season debut, crushing her previous personal best in the 5000m by 18.73 seconds with a time of 20:05.62. Justene Santi also took on the 5000m, clocking in at 20:47.63 in a strong effort.
