Western Track and Field Preps for Montana Tech Winter Series #2

DILLON, Mont. – The UMW men's and women's track and field teams are back in Bozeman for the third consecutive week as they take part in the Montana Tech Winter Series #2.

Both running and field events begin at 1 p.m. MT Friday. On the track, the women's 60H will kick off the meet. In the field, men's shot put gets things started.

WHO'S WHO
On the women's side, Cassie Green (shot put, weight throw), Olivia Heiner (3000m), Haley Hodge (400m), Braden Kopp (shot put, weight throw), Justene Santi (3000m), Jocelyn Seefried (60m, 200m), Kendalyn Streck (shot put), and Kylee Wyatt will see action.

For the men's team, Kreg Butler (3000m), Layne Cooney (shot put), Luke Crossley (3000m, DMR), Wade Dahood (60H, long jump), Brody Henry (DMR), Justin Maier (shot put), Tyler Raine (60H, 400m), Noah Rovente (3000m), Stanley Stremick (long jump, triple jump), Tristan Von Bargen (DMR), and Bridger Wheeler (DMR) will compete.

MEET THE FIELD
Five teams will take to the track in Bozeman: Montana Tech, Carroll, Providence, Rocky Mountain, and Western.

LOOKING AHEAD
Following the weekend, the Bulldogs travel to Brookings, S.D. to compete in the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships Feb. 21-22.
