BOZEMAN, Mont.– Olivia Heiner,
Stanley Stremick, and
Tyler Raine all finished on the podium in their respective events as the Western Track and Field Teams wrapped up action at the second installment of the Montana Tech Winter Series.
On the track,
Tyler Raine clocked a personal-best 51.11 in the men's 400m to place third. He also earned a fourth-place finish in the men's 60H with an 8.75.
Michael Reistroffer finished 10th in the men's 400m with a 59.21.
Brody Henry,
Bridger Wheeler,
Tristan Von Bargen, and
Luke Crossley placed eighth in the men's Distance Medley Relay with a time of 11:11.57.
Olivia Heiner took second in the women's 3000m, running a PR of 11:39.59.
Justene Santi clocked a 1:10.73 in the women's 400m, taking fifth. She also finished fifth in the women's 3000m, posting a 12:01.47.
Noah Rovente and
Kreg Butler placed 14th and 15th, respectively, in the men's 3000m. Rovente ran a 10:29.39 while Butler clocked a 10:40.88 personal best.
In the field,
Stanley Stremick earned second with a 6.45m (21-02.00) in the men's long jump. He also finished on the podium in the men's triple jump, leaping 12.58m (41-03.25).
Kendalyn Streck took eighth in the women's shotput after a 10.64m (34-11.00) effort.
Braden Kopp threw a 9.59m (31-05.75) to place 15th in the same event.
Kopp finished 11th in the women's weight throw with a 9.90m (32-05.75) toss. Cassie Green placed 12th, posting a 9.66m (31.08.50) mark.
Justin Maier threw a PR of 11.70m (38-04.75) to finish 14th in the men's shot put.
Layne Cooney placed 15th with a mark of 11.60m (38-00.75).
LOOKING AHEAD
The Bulldogs travel to Brookings, S.D., next week to compete in the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships.
