Brookings, S.D.– The Montana Western track and field programs competed in day 1 of the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships Saturday. Five Bulldogs were in action on the opening day.
Stanley Stremick finished 16th in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.11m (20-00.50).
Olivia Heiner (19:21.31) and
Justene Santi (21:09.79) placed 11th and 13th, respectively, in the women's 5000m.
Wade Dahood (8.78) and
Tyler Raine (8.79) went seventh and eighth in the men's 60H prelims, with both qualifying for Sunday's finals.
Raine also finished 15th in the men's 400m, clocking a 52.53.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow for day two of the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships.
