Brookings, S.D.– The Montana Western men's track and field program took ninth and the women placed 10th at the Frontier Conference Indoor Championships Sunday.

On the track,
Tyler Raine placed fifth in the men's 60H finals with an 8.73.
Wade Dahood clocked an 8.87 to finish seventh.
Brody Henry earned a season-best 1:58.58 to place ninth in the men's 800m.
Tristan Von Bargen ran a 1:30.63 in the men's 600m, finishing 13th.
In the women's 3000m,
Olivia Heiner posted an 11:05.48 personal best to place 16th while
Justene Santi finished 18th with a personal record 11:44.07.
Raine, Dahood, Von Bargen, and Henry clocked a 3:39.30 in the men's 4x400m, taking ninth.
In Sunday's field events,
Stanley Stremick finished 10th in the men's triple jump with a 12.61m (41-04.50) leap.
In the women's shot put,
Kendalyn Streck placed 12th with an 11.25m (36-11.00) while
Cassie Green took 15th with a best mark of 10.73m (35-02.50).
In the men's shot put,
Layne Cooney earned 13th with a 13.57m (44-06.25).
Additionally, Raine and Heiner received the FC Champion of Character awards for Western.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Bulldogs now look towards the outdoor competition season, which kicks off March 21 at the Yellowjackets/ Battlin' Bears Open.
