Bulldog Track & Field Competes at Carignan Classic

DILLON, Mont. – The UMW men's and women's track and field teams head to Bozeman, Mont., this Friday to take part in the Carignan Classic, hosted by Montana State at the Kennedy-Stark Athletic Center.

Friday's field events start at 2 p.m. MT with the men's high jump and women's long jump. Running events begin at 2:30 p.m. MT with the men's 60H prelims.

WHO'S WHO
21 Bulldogs will be competing in the meet.

On the women's side, Raelynne Briere (long jump, triple jump), Olivia Heiner (mile, 3000m), Haley Hodge (400m, 200m), Braden Kopp (shot put), Justene Santi (mile, 3000m), Kendalyn Streck (shot put), Kylee Wyatt (mile) will all compete.

For the men's team, Layne Cooney (shot put, weight throw), Luke Crossley (mile, 800m, 4x400m), Wade Dahood (60H, long jump), Brody Henry (800m, 4x400m), Uzzaiah Kanewa (200m, 4x400m), Justin Maier (shot put), Tyler Raine (60H, 4x400m), Michael Reistroffer (mile, 800m), Noah Rovente (3000m), Harrison Silverio (3000m), Stanley Stremick (long jump, triple jump), Cael Thilmony (3000m), Tristan Von Bargen (800m, 4x400m), Bridger Wheeler (800m) will see action.

MEET THE FIELD
12 teams will take to the track in Bozeman: Carroll, Dawson CC, Montana, Montana State, MSU-Billings, MSU-Northern, Montana Tech, Providence, Rocky Mountain, Utah State, Westminster, and Western.

LOOKING AHEAD
After the Carignan Classic, the Bulldogs will be back in Bozeman for the second installment of the Montana Tech Winter Series (2/13).
