Western T&F Competes at Al Manuel Invitational

DILLON, Mont. – The UMW men's and women's track and field teams head to Missoula, Mont., this weekend to compete in the Al Manuel Invitational. The meet is hosted by Montana and will be held at Dornblaser Field.

Two throwing events will take place Friday, starting with the women's hammer throw at 1 p.m. MT. Men's hammer throw, women's javelin, and men's javelin will follow, each 30 minutes after the completion of the previous event.

Saturday's field events kick off at 10 a.m. MT with the women's discus and will follow a rolling schedule format.

Track events begin at 11:15 a.m. MT with the women's 3000m steeplechase.

28 Bulldogs will make the trip to Missoula.

On the women's side, Brielle Davis (javelin, discus), Cassie Green (shot put, discus), Maya Gorth (100m), Olivia Heiner (5000m), Haley Hodge (400m), Braden Kopp (hammer throw, shot put, discus), Justene Santi (3000m steeplechase), Jocelyn Seefried (100m, 200m), Kendalyn Streck (shot put, discus), Ellie Stutsman (shot put, discus), and Kylee Wyatt (1500m) are set to compete.

For the men's team, Kreg Butler (5000m), Layne Cooney (shot put, discus, hammer throw), Luke Crossley (5000m), Wade Dahood (110H, long jump), Brody Henry (800m), Uzzaiah Kanewa (100m, 200m), Mason Lynch (5000m), Justin Maier (shot put, discus), Tyler Raine (110H, 400H), Michael Reistroffer (800m, 1500m), Noah Rovente (5000m), Stanley Stremick (long jump, triple jump), Tad Tackes (shot put, discus), Cael Thilmony (5000m), Jesse Vail (100m, 200m), Tristan Von Bargen (800m), and Bridger Wheeler (800m) will see action.

MEET THE FIELD
Seven teams will compete, including Montana, Carroll, Dawson CC, Montana State, Montana Tech, Providence, and Western.
