Bill Jackson, a native of Deer Lodge, Mont., is a 1959 graduate of Western Montana College (WMC) with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education.

After high school graduation, Jackson served two years in the military during the Korean War. After his discharge, he enrolled at WMC.

Jackson lettered in basketball, baseball and football. He earned first team all-conference honors as an end for the Bulldog football team, and honorable mention all-conference honors in basketball.

Jackson was a member of the 1959 conference champion baseball team, conference and district championship basketball team, made two trips to the NAIA national basketball tournament.

After graduation, he moved to Modesto, Calif., where he taught, coached and counseled for 30 years. He retired to Elliston, Mont. Jackson passed away Aug. 12, 2013 in Helena, Mont.
