Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame
A 1991 graduate of Western with a degree in Secondary Education. She is the Lady Bulldogs’ All-Time leading scorer with 1658 points. She earned second team All-Conference honors after both her freshman and sophomore seasons and first team All-Conference and All-District honors after her junior and senior seasons. Bobette was named Frontier Conference Most Valuable Player for the 1989-90 season. Additional honors include twice named MVP of the Sarsfield Classic, and winning Media Player of the Week awards nine different times. Her teammates include Hall of Famer Jenny Reynolds Peterson, Rhonda Bowers, Lisa Shockley, Darcy Sturm, Tammy Sutliff, and Stacey Shockley to just mention a few. Bobette’s coach at Western was Hall of Famer Gary Cooper. Her most memorable experiences at Western, she says Everything! Upon graduation, she has worked as a bookkeeper for a Dillon business, and is now actively involved with her husband Tom in the ranching business. They are the parents of daughter Peyton and son Jason.
