Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame
Jason DesJarlais graduated from the
University of Montana Western in 1995,
known then as Western Montana College
with a bachelor’s in physical education. He
went on to receive his master’s in science
from Humboldt State University in 1999.
While at UMW, Jason played football from
1992 to 1995, and was part of Conference
Champion teams in ’93 through ’95. He
was named Defensive MVP of the 1996
National All-Star Game and is a member
of the 1994 Western Montana College Hall
of Fame Team. Jason began his coaching
career at Western Montana in 1996, serving
as Defensive Line Coach. He went on to
coach at Humboldt State University,
University of San Diego, Jacksonville University,
Yale University and has been a scout
for the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2007.
Jason and his wife Dana have two children,
Makala and Tanner, and reside in Florida.
