Steve earned three varsity letters in football while at Western from 1965 to 1969. He was a member of the Frontier Conference Bulldog Football Championship team in 1967, and was named Frontier All-Conference running back in 1967 and 1968. Steve was also M Club President at Western from 1968-69. Currently a mathematics teacher at Lebanon Union High School and Linn Benton Community College in Lebanon, Oregon, he and his wife breed and show champion Great Danes. Steve’s most memorable experience include winning the Frontier Conference Championship against Eastern in 1967 and carrying the football 80 yards for a touchdown against Eastern in 1968. He and his wife, June Ellen, have three children—Danielle, Justin, and Nicole.
