Played two years at Western and they were record breaking years for the Lady Bulldog volleyball and basketball. She earned All-Conference and All-District honors in both sports and was the conference MVP in volleyball before transferring to MSU-Northern. She was the recipient of the Little Sullivan Award. During her volleyball career at Western, the Lady Bulldogs rolled to sixteen straight math wins. Family obligations necessitated a move to Havre at the start of her junior season. There she earned All-Conference, All-District and All-American honors. During her playing career, she was a teammate of current Lady Bulldog volleyball coach Jenny (Reynolds) Peterson. She has been teaching and coaching since graduating form MSU-Northern in 1992. Weed is currently teaching in Kalispell. She is the mother of three children, Steph, age 13, Brittani, age 9, and Steven, age 5.
