Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame
A former East-West Shrine game performer from Great Falls, Bud lettered three years with the Bulldogs and was a first-team all-conference fullback in 1962-63, along with a second-team selection in ’61. He handled all of Western’s kicking and in his senior year ranked seventh amongst NAIA punters throughout the nation. In three years as head coach at Granite High School in Philipsburg, his teams compiled a 24-6 record. Moving to Great Falls, he led his junior high teams to a 14-year 65-20 mark, including seven undefeated seasons. He currently teaches Industrial Arts at East Junior High while also refereeing football and wrestling at the high school level.
