Katie Stokes, a native of Choteau, Mont., is a 2004 graduate of Montana Western with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science with a related area in wildland interpretation and a minor in biology.

As a Bulldog volleyball student-athlete, Stokes built an impressive resume. She earned numerous conference player of the week honors and at one time held the Bulldog single season record for digs.

She earned Frontier Conference all-conference honorable mention honors in 2001. In 2002, Stokes was named the conference defensive player of the year, the conference player of the year, a first team all-conference selection, a first team all-region selection and an NAIA All-American honorable mention selection.

Stokes lives in Helena with husband Matt and son Tristen. She is one of three managing directors for the Montana Land Reliance.
