Bulldog Athletic Hall of Fame
A product of Bellows Falls (Vt.) High School, Mike emerged as team leader during a highly successful baseball ear at Western. A rugged, agile catcher, Mike combined clutch hitting, exceptional defensive fielding, and a skill at handling pitchers while leading the Bulldogs to a National NAIA Finals in both 1967 and ’68. He also was a four-letter guard on the WMC basketball squad. Following brief teaching-coaching periods at Corvallis and Dillon, he joined the FBI as a Special Agent in 1970. Mike was later promoted to supervisor at the agency’s Washington D.C., headquarters and in 1978 assumed his present position as supervisor of the FBI’s Kentucky Organized Crime Squad at Louisville.
