Montana Western, University of

A graduate of the University of Montana-Western with a degree in elementary education. T.R. wrestled from 1989 to 1993. He qualified for the NAIA National Tournament all four years. T.R. was selected an NAIA All-American two years and won a National Championship in 1991. He was coached by T.J. Nelson, and his teammates include Hall of Famers Mick Cheff and Troy Lake, along with Ernie Molina, Shawn Fossen, Phil McCluskey, Rich Vasquez, and Corey Bolton. His most memorable moments include of course his national title, and the lifelong friendships he made with his teammates. After graduation he taught 4^th and 5^th grade in Dillon for two years. He then spent three years teaching 6^th grade in Peoria, Arizona. While teaching, he started an expedited freight business. The freight business took off and he left teaching. His business now serves 48 states and Canada. T.R. is married to the former Tammy Sparks, also a graduate of Western.
