Ernie Good, a native of Cut Bank, Mont., was a student at the Montana State Normal College (MSNC) in 1940-41 and 1941-42.

He was a two year letterman for the Bulldogs earning Montana Collegiate Conference (MCC) basketball all-conference honors after the 1941-42 season. 

The 1940-41 Bulldogs finished the season with a 19-4 overall record and were the first team in the history of the MSNC program to be invited to the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.

Good scored eight points in the first round loss to the eventual national champions, San Diego State College.

He also lettered in baseball and was active in M-Club

After his sophomore year, Good enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served with distinction through the remainder of World War II. After his discharge, he worked for the U.S. Postal Office before starting an insurance and real estate insurance firm in Cut Bank.

Good was a volunteer fireman for The Cut Bank Fire Department for many years, and was also a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, Eagles Club, and Moose Lodge. He was an accomplished dancer and avid sports fan.

He passed away Nov. 21, 2013.
