Joe Fey, a native of Glasgow, Mont. , is a 1951 graduate of Western Montana College. After graduation from Glasgow High School, Fey enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he enrolled at Western.

He was a four-year Bulldog letterman and an all-conference selection in three of the four years. Fey was a player on the 1948 and 1949 Montana Collegiate Conference championship teams. 

1949 of course, the first season the Bulldogs played their home games at Vigilante Field. He was elected team captain his senior season. Fey also lettered in baseball and track.

After graduating from WMC he took a position  with Midwest Coast Transport in Sioux Falls, S.D. Fey worked in management in the steel industry in Seattle, Wash., Alaska and California. He retired in 2001 and moved to Arizona.

He passed away Oct. 20, 2008.
