During her two-year stay at Western, Rona was selected to the Frontier All-Conference teams both years. She was also honored as the co-MVP for the Frontier Conference. A Granite High School graduate, Rona is employed as a computer assistant/resource assistant with the Forest Service. She continued her involvement with basketball—both as junior high school girls’ basketball coach and as a player in Anaconda’s intermural basketball squad. Rona’s fondest memory of playing basketball at Western include the friendships that developed between the players and the coaches and the opportunity to play ball out of state. Rona and her husband, John, make their two children—Joshua and Brittany.
