Montana Western, University of

MacDonald, a 1960 graduate of Western Montana College, is a native of Butte. During his career with the baseball team, the Bulldogs were back-to-back Frontier Conference champions in 1958 and 1959. MacDonald, a catcher, led the team defensively and offensively. As a batter he topped the Bulldogs in average and runs batted in. MacDonald was named co-captain of the team, an honor he shared with Bob Petrino.
